Nicaragua Mierish
Tasting Notes: Honey • Blood Orange • Violet
Nicaragua Mierish is produced on the La Huela farm at 1,400 masl in the Matagalpa region. The coffee is from the rare Yellow Pacamara variety — a natural mutation of the classic Pacamara, in which the cherries ripen yellow and develop a brighter, gentler aromatic profile.
The cherries are depulped and fermented carefully with temperature control, then dried on raised beds. The Mierish family, renowned across the specialty coffee world for their innovative farming practices and consistently high-quality lots, brings decades of expertise to every harvest. The Yellow Pacamara is an exceptionally rare variety, producing large, dense beans with an aromatic intensity that few cultivars can match. The washed process highlights the variety’s elegant acidity and exceptional transparency of taste.
Brewing Recommendation: Best enjoyed as a V60 pour-over or Chemex. Pair with citrus tarts or violet-infused dark chocolate for a sophisticated tasting experience.
